สัญลักษณ์แห่งการเมืองสีเทาที่ระบบไทยหล่อเลี้ยง
ระบบการเมืองไทยยังคงถูกครอบงำด้วยเครือข่ายอุปถัมภ์ ช่องโหว่ทางกฎหมาย และการยอมรับ “ผู้รอดชีวิต” มากกว่าผู้บริสุทธิ์ ร.อ.ธรรมนัส พรหมเผ่า (ชื่อเล่น “ตุ๋ย”) กลายเป็นตัวอย่างชัดเจนของนักการเมืองที่ผงาดขึ้นมาได้ แม้มีประวัติข้อครหาหนักหน่วง
เขาไม่ได้รับใช้ประชาชนผ่านการสร้างระบบที่โปร่งใสและเท่าเทียม แต่รับใช้โครงสร้างอำนาจเดิม—เครือข่ายระหว่างกองทัพ กลุ่มทุน และนักการเมืองที่ต่อรองกันในเงามืด ทำให้ “ความเทา” กลายเป็นทักษะทางการเมืองที่ได้รับรางวัล
จุดเริ่มต้นของตำนานสีเทา: คดีเฮโรอีนในออสเตรเลีย (พ.ศ. 2536)
- ถูกจับกุม 15 เมษายน 2536 ที่โรงแรมใกล้หาดบอนได ซิดนีย์ พร้อมผู้ต้องหาอีก 3 คน
- ข้อหาสมรู้ร่วมคิดลักลอบนำเข้าเฮโรอีน 3.2 กิโลกรัม มูลค่าประมาณ 4.1 ล้านดอลลาร์ออสเตรเลีย
- ผลตรวจแล็บรัฐบาลออสเตรเลียยืนยันเฮโรอีนบริสุทธิ์ 74%
- ใช้ชื่อ “มนัส โบพรหม” (Manat Bophlom)
- รับสารภาพ 15 พฤศจิกายน 2536 ฐานมีส่วนรู้เห็นและร่วมปฏิบัติการนำเข้าเฮโรอีนเพื่อการค้า
- ศาลพิพากษา 31 มีนาคม 2537 จำคุก 6 ปี (ขั้นต่ำ 4 ปี)
- พ้นโทษและถูกเนรเทศกลับไทย 14 เมษายน 2540
การรอดพ้นทางกฎหมายในไทย
แม้มีคำพิพากษาจากศาลออสเตรเลีย ศาลรัฐธรรมนูญไทยมีมติ 9:0 (คำวินิจฉัยที่ 6/2564) ว่าไม่ขาดคุณสมบัติเป็น ส.ส. หรือรัฐมนตรี เนื่องจาก:
- คำพิพากษาเป็นของศาลต่างประเทศ ไม่มีผลบังคับใช้โดยตรง
- ฐานความผิดไม่ตรงกับฐานความผิดตามกฎหมายไทย
- สำเนาคำพิพากษาไม่ได้รับการรับรองอย่างเป็นทางการ
บทบาทปัจจุบัน (พ.ศ. 2569)
หลังการเลือกตั้งใหญ่ พรรคกล้าธรรมซึ่งเขาเป็นแกนนำหลัก กวาดที่นั่ง ส.ส. เขตเกือบ 60 ที่นั่ง จากฐานเสียงภาคเหนือและเครือข่ายพื้นที่เข้มข้น เขาดำรงตำแหน่งรองนายกรัฐมนตรีและรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงเกษตรและสหกรณ์ ในรัฐบาลผสมภายใต้การนำของอนุทิน ชาญวีรกูล
การลงพื้นที่ของเขาไม่ได้เสริมสร้างรัฐที่โปร่งใสและยั่งยืน แต่สร้างความพึ่งพาเฉพาะบุคคล ผ่านการแจกจ่ายและเครือข่ายส่วนตัว ทำให้ประชาชนมองเขาเป็น “ไม้ค้ำยัน” แทนกลไกรัฐที่เท่าเทียม
อันตรายเชิงโครงสร้างที่แท้จริง
- ทำให้สังคมชินชากับความสกปรกทางการเมือง
- ทำให้ระบบอุปถัมภ์ถูกมองเป็น “ความสามารถ”
- เปลี่ยนความอัปยศเป็น “ประสบการณ์ทางการเมือง”
- ลดมาตรฐานศีลธรรมสาธารณะให้เหลือเพียง “ไม่ผิดกฎหมายไทย”
บทสรุป
การเมืองไทยจะก้าวหน้าได้ ก็ต่อเมื่อเรากล้าตั้งคำถามถึงรากเหง้าของปัญหา ไม่ใช่ปรบมือให้ผู้ที่ “รอด” ทุกคดี แต่ต้องยอมรับว่าการรอดนั้นเกิดจากความอ่อนแอของระบบเอง หากไม่เปลี่ยนแปลงโครงสร้าง เราจะมี “ธรรมนัส” อีกมากในอนาคต
