Was this necessary? A protester with bare hands surrrounded by many armed soldiers. And why was he kicked in the head?
The boots, the uniforms, the gun, and their very profession are paid for out of the people's tax money. When you allow in a given system the stupid guys with guns and power to do whatever they want, you are doomed to be punished. Some elits in Thailand have tried to blame the red-shirted protesters for burnging buildings, but even if they were caught on the scene, they are still entitled to a lawyer and a presumption of them being innocent until proven otherwise.
