The boots, the uniforms, the gun, and their very profession are paid for out of the people's tax money. When you allow in a given system the stupid guys with guns and power to do whatever they want, you are doomed to be punished. Some elits in Thailand have tried to blame the red-shirted protesters for burnging buildings, but even if they were caught on the scene, they are still entitled to a lawyer and a presumption of them being innocent until proven otherwise.
Below is a picture of a red-shirted protestor sitting firmly at her base as all the other protestors has fled from the scence due to the merciless shooting by the raiding solddiers. The raid ended the two-month peaceful protest, but led to violent chaos and subsequent curfew and more killing!
Below is the clip showing the last statement the core leaders addressed to the protesters before the shooting spree took place. The leaders said they had to terminate the protest just because they didn't want more deaths of the unarmed protesters.
